Joni Davis (formerly Davis-Goodman) After law school, Joni was employed as an attorney on staff for the Virginia Supreme Court Chief Staff Attorney's Office. She served as law clerk to Virginia's former Chief Justice, Harry L. Carrico and as Executive Director of the Virginia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers . She has advised clients in numerous intellectual property matters including patent, trademark and copyright infringement. Her intellectual property clients include artists, entertainers, authors, fashion designers and inventors.
Joni has represented clients involved in internet disputes and has successfully filed complaints utilizing ICANN'S Dispute Resolution policy resulting in the transfer of domain names to the rightful owners. She has advised clients in the U.S. as well as internationally regarding online transactions, defamation and copyright infringement. She advises individuals and business owners in a variety of matters including contract disputes, entity formation and estate planning.
